Thailand Weddings (sometimes called
- Lanna Weddings ) is Thai owned and operated.
We started in the wedding Boutique business
back in 1994. Our business now is really two fold we have the
Thai clients that are served from our shop and office in The
traditional old Business section of town and our overseas couples
(many who are also Thai living overseas from the internet - That
was a big surprise for me when we started) who are served by
the amazing technology of the internet, Email and Skype.
So don't be shocked if you phone and
the person answering the phone asked you to wait while she finds
a English speaking staff, as not all of us speak English or need
to. Unlike many companies in the "Destination wedding"
field, we are not a company created by westerners to serve tourist
industry but a local company created to serve local wedding couples
which just naturally ended up offering our service to English
speaking couples as well. We have a Dutch Lady Named Hanika a
friend and client to thank for us doing western weddings, as
she asked us to do a wedding for her friends and asked us to
put up some details on the net and from that we expanded with
demand.
Now with lots of experience doing Thai
couples weddings and foreign couples wedding we know the simple
secret of how to create a dream wedding, it's easy, "JUST
DO IT RIGHT" and love doing it.
I pride myself in the fact that local
families trust us with their wedding arrangements, how many other
local "destination wedding" providers can claim that.
The staff are all locally born and raised
in The Chiang Mai area, we love it here and enjoy sharing it
